Let's Talk About Evil This Summer!

Purchase NowTheme: Villains in the Bible
We experience the devastating power of evil in so many ways – yet in the face of a myriad of streams of news and commentary, it can be hard to point directly at a villain without shutting others’ ears. By exploring villains in the Bible, we can create a kind of pattern recognition for discerning evil in the world. In learning this skill, we can then reflect on how God and/or God’s people respond to the abuses of power with transformative love and liberation.
This is a 6-week stand-alone, story-based series, not connected to the lectionary. While we wrote it for the summer, it can be used at any time of the year, and in any order/configuration. You may use all weeks, or only a few. Choose your own adventure!Â
